Japan-Trains- 2016 & 2017

On two recent trips to Japan for a photography workshop, we took a large number of Shinkansen (bullet trains), commuter trains, subways, and trolleys to reach our various destinations. Since the trains are punctual and frequent, the Japanese use them every day. As we waited in stations, and on the trains, I saw the "train culture" in many forms and photographed the people in situations that I thought exemplified this culture.
